Back in the beginning of the #Stayathome days, three individuals got together in a bedroom studio and created Island Child. This trio calls themselves Kosha, meaning ‘Self” in Vedantic philosophy.
All three grew up in Bali – Annisa arrived later in life, with Azarif and Zen growing up on the island as friends since childhood. Influenced by Bali and its smooth, slow living they decided to put this feeling into an R & B/Rap single. Annisa’s smooth vocals grabs our attention and immediately puts listeners under the Bali spell, interjected with raps from Azarif and Zen about life, love and living.
The song portrays Bali as a girl at the same time speaks of love of the female. The video shot across the island shows Bali at her best from all angles. (Videographer – Max de Santis)
The track was produced by international music producer and musician, Neil McLlenan, and is launching across all digital platforms on July 1st 2021.
