Waterbom is proud to announce that they are the first tourism operation in Bali to become completely carbon neutral. Environmental stewardship has always been a core mission at Bali’s biggest waterpark, so over the years they have consistently implemented initiatives to improve sustainability and minimise the impact they have on the local environment. For the last year and a half, Waterbom has also been working with environmental consulting group Mantra to reduce their carbon footprint. This includes investing in the Jorethang Loop Hydroelectric Project in India, which is a UN Certified Emissions Reduction Project. In this way Waterbom hopes to have a greater positive impact here in Bali and abroad.
