Set to open in April 2020, Titik Dua offers design-savvy travelers a unique stay experience with 22 custom-designed rooms, with a contemporary take on design, gastronomy, and immersive workshops and talks on culture, innovation, and wellness.
(BALI, Indonesia—March 2020—) Titik Dua is the passion project of a group of Indonesian tastemakers who aspired to create a hotel with a diference. A locally-rooted, service-driven and impactful space that promotes local creative talent, with a distinctive stay-, dining-, and learning-experience.
Comprising 22 custom-designed rooms, 6 multi-purpose spaces, a signature Coffee + Cocktail Bar, and a restaurant overlooking the Ubud jungle, Titik Dua seeks to bring a fresh new hospitality vibe to Ubud.
Compact, intimate, welcoming. Titik Dua’s 18 cozy rooms with handcrafted furniture, foor-to-ceiling windows, a choice of king-size or twin beds featuring artisanal rugs, runners, and curated amenities, celebrating Indonesian craftsmanship. LED Smart TV, portable speakers, and a balcony overlooking the pool and forest complete the picture. Additionally, four distinctive rooms await – each with a different layout and detailed design, promising design enthusiasts the experience of exquisite craftsmanship.
Titik Dua’s striking architecture is the collaborative result of the hotel founders and award-winning Indonesian architect, Andra Matin. Renowned for his clean design, a mastery of blending indoors and outdoors, and a passion for local materials. Awash in a sea of red bricks and angular lines, Matin’s defnite showpiece is the elevated open-air 300-meter walkway connecting the hotel building and street entrance. Leading guests through a series of ramps with water features set in landscaped gardens.
Memorable events are at the heart of Titik Dua. Featuring 6 multi-purpose spaces and open-air amphitheater, a diverse venue choice for corporate events, wellness retreats and intimate weddings. In keeping with the hotel’s mission of bringing local creative talent to the global stage, Titik Dua presents a regular lineup of design-led exhibitions, innovative talks and workshops.
Titik Dua’s 62-seat restaurant on the 3rd level, features vaulted wooden ceilings, jungle views, and an inviting lounge-like space. Inspired by Ubud’s growing reputation as an international dining and wellness destination, the farm-to-table movement, the Modern Asian kitchen focuses on Indonesian spices and fresh locally-sourced ingredients, shared plates served on handcrafted earthenware made by artisans from Tabanan, Bali.
Tucked away behind mirrored glass doors, the plant-flled 24-seat Coffee + Cocktails beckons with artisan-quality pour overs, cold brews and crafted espresso-based creations. In the evening, the space transforms into a speakeasy bar featuring exciting cocktails with an indigenous twist.
