On October 15, 2022 Karma Kandara’s Executive Chef and Los Angeles native Joseph Antonishek will welcome the return of Caliwine-ication Season 3. The much anticipated event is the follow up to a sold out Season 1 and 2, and will return in the same indulgent form – a specially curated five-course Californian cuisine and wine pairing.
The evening will commence in the Temple Lounge tucked into the cliffs of Uluwatu, treating guests to unrivalled views out over the Indian ocean while the sun sets. A soundtrack of West Coast hip-hop California will introduce canapé hour, featuring 19 Crimes Snoop Dog’s Cali Red wine, alongside specialty cocktail “gin & juice” in typical Snoop Dog fashion, created by Kariana, Karma Kandara’s lead mixologist.
While the sun descends for another day, guests will be led to diMare restaurant by Jimmy Sax Black for an evening to remember. Season 3 will guest star Hahn Family Wines from California’s Central Coast, partnered with Chef Joseph’s fine dining approach to the region’s cuisine. Dishes of note include a Chilled dashi egg custard with cured prawns, “Old school,” a duck and foie gras paté with a modern approach, and a Wagyu beef-smoked octopus main course – a quick sampler of what is in store.
Not only are Chef Joseph and Snoop Dog both from LA, but they share the same birthday, October 20!.This means that plenty of celebrations are on the cards – make sure you stick around for the after-party of fine spirits and cigars as the night will be definitely be an unforgettable one.
After the success of Season One and Two which sold out quickly, Season Three is again anticipating a fast “sell-out”. Tickets are truly well-valued at only Rp. 1,6 million per person, with Early Bird specials of Rp. 1,4 million per person or a “Book four, Pay three” offer valid until September 30th, 2022.
