Sensatia Botanicals opens in Jakarta’s Jabotabek area.
Sensatia Botanical goes from strength to strength with the opening of its first shop in Jabotabek at Supermal Karawaci, one of Indonesia’s largest and most successful malls to date. The opening is in conjunction with Jakarta Distributpr Greenshop.
Sensatia was founded in 2000 in the small, quiet fishing village of Jasri, Karangasem on the east coast of Bali. Starting as a profit-sharing cooperation, the company is 20% owned by employees. Said founder Michael R Lorenti Jr: “We started with just three employees, and after just 18 months we were ecstatic to involve and empower 23 Balinese people developing and producing Sensatia products. Now we are 70 dedicated people strong, producing international quality products in a GMP Certified production facility, complete with a QC department, a certified calibrated microbiology & chemical lab and a pharmacist that oversees the production and safety assessment of every single batch before it leaves Sensatia’s production facility.”
Trademarked in 40+ countries, with 200+ BPOM product registrations, Sensatia Botanicals is the first and only GMP Certified Cosmetic Company in Bali.
