It’s been worth the wait for the Robert Marchetti Plantation Grill at the latest upscale beach hub Double Six with a level of attention to detail that has thrilled owners and guests alike. The food is certainly living up to the design brilliance with quality ingredients and elegant dishes to match the décor (the black trufle macaroni and cheese is sensational, we hear). Located on the fourth floor of the hotel, this is a welcome addition to the wildly successful entertainment hub that is Double-Six Luxury Hotel. Located on the fourth floor, Plantation flaunts 20s-style luxury, with marble finishes, a vaulted double-height ceiling and huge glass windows looking out to the sea. Guests are introduced to the venue via a beautiful spiral staircase that leads down to luxurious leather booths. The restaurant’s specialty is dry aged, exclusively sourced and imported meat and line-caught sustainable seafood cooked over custom made coal and wood grills and wood-fired ovens.
