Escaping the 9-5 and moving to Bali in 2011, A young father was visited by his mother, noticed she had swollen ankles, and after further investigation found out she was pre-diabetic, which he knew could be a life threatening situation if not put under control quickly.
My mum really liked her sweet treats but needed a better alternative, which was hard to find in Bali. It was also important to us that she improved her diet to include more natural foods with minimal processing.

She was loving the caramel flavor of the natural coconut sap, that strangely does not taste like coconut. Her favorite way to use Coconut Syrup is spoonful in a hot cup of Earl Grey Tea, with milk and drizzling on top of plain yoghurt, a versatile sweetener that mixes easily in hot and cold drinks.
A really exciting discovery was that, unlike white sugar or honey, coconut syrup also contains other vitamins and minerals, essential Glyconutrients, including Inulin, 17 different Amino Acids, 13 Vitamins including Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6 and C, high mineral content and high macro & micro nutrients.
