The first South-East Asian outpost for award-winning hair stylist Rossano Ferretti, the globally-renowned hair haven is here to set a new benchmark for professional salon services across Indonesia. The Balinese salon will maintain the same innovations for which Rossano Ferretti Hair Spas have become famed – a mingling of holistic hair treatments, iconic hairstyling, and award-winning vegan products that form the Rossano Ferretti Parma range.
The Rossano Ferretti Hair Spa is situated within the new two-storey Healing Village Spa at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay. Its arrival helps to expand the spa’s already ample offering, and caters to both Resort guests as well as the general public within a state-of-the-art facility that interweaves traditional Balinese architecture with a nod to Rossano Ferretti’s Italian heritage. Picture exotic accents such as a lily pond and open-air spaces, with photos of the Rossano Ferretti family and Italian-made Maletti chairs interspersed throughout. Privacy is also paramount to the experience, with client consultations conducted in private suites for optimum guest comfort.
The Bali space will continue the global expansion of the brand, with Rossano Ferretti Hair Spas already established in Milan, Paris, New York, and Dubai, alongside other Four Seasons properties including Maldives and Los Cabos. Visitors can expect the same timeless style and expertise for which the Rossano Ferretti brand is built, a company inspired by founder Ferretti’s family heritage – he boasts a barber for a grandfather, and a grandmother and mother who ran a small salon in their village in Italy.
At the helm of Rossano Ferretti Bali is creative director Raffaele Bruognolo, a mentee of Rossano who was personally appointed to the role. With 14 years of experience under his belt, Bruognolo will assist in providing Bali visitors with high quality colour and custom cuts, giving each and every guest his undivided attention from the initial consultation through to shampoo, cut, colour, style and on to products. He is an adopter of the revolutionary and unique Rossano Ferretti “Method” or “Invisible Haircut,” a highly developed and personalised approach to hair styling that considers the entire person, not just the hair.
“I joined the Rossano Ferretti team at the age of 22,” says Raffaele, “and since then I have worked as a Creative Director in Italy, Spain, Beijing, Shanghai and Paris. From the moment I saw the world-famous Method Cut I fell in love with its technique and ability to personalise every client’s hair beauty.
