Be AWARE that on the 11th of October 2022, the neighbouring Nusas (or islands) Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan celebrate Silent Ocean Day or Nyepi Laut. This Silent Ocean Day is one of Bali’s important Hindu celebrations to honor Baruna, the God of Water.
Just so you know, on Silent Ocean Day, there will be no boats operating to or from these islands, ie; there will be no arrivals or departures from Nusa Penida Island on 11th October 2022.
