Cafe del Mar Bali Opens Mediterranean Restaurant

A team of international talent lead the food offering at Bali’s most anticipated new beach club.

Having opened its expansive beach club just a few months ago, Cafe del Mar Bali is now ready to introduce its premium dining offering. The Mediterranean theme of Cafe del Mar Bali continues at its restaurant both in menu and interior design, with the eatery set to open in the coming days, led by a collection of international talent.

Nestled under one of Cafe del Mar Bali’s iconic archways sits the light-filled retreat, which seats 100 indoor and a further 60 guests on the adjoining al fresco terrace. Private functions can also be catered to utilising Cafe del Mar’s sunset booth area, situated in front of the restaurant, where 120 can mingle amidst the combined seated and standing area. The al fresco balcony features the iconic Ibiza blue and white sails hanging from the ceiling, to assist with the heat on a beautiful sunny Bali day.

The Culinary team at Cafe del Mar Bali is led by Chef Graeme Palmer who hails from England. Chef Graeme is noted for having worked with some of the industry icons in his native homeland. He brings a vast array of expertise in Mediterranean Cuisine and also has some interesting twists and influences of Indonesian Archipelago cuisine. The restaurant embraces a casual attitude and combines an inviting and relaxing dining environment with seamless service. The cuisine is a celebration of new coastal Mediterranean and neo-Middle Eastern cuisine focusing on a playful, seasonally inspired menu based on highest quality ingredients.

The menus have been designed with sharing in mind as they believe this is the best way to eat….. Cafe del Mar style. They recommend ordering several dishes to share, while taking the time to savor the dining experience.

The accompanying wine list is impressively lengthy, mingling old and new world styles from all over the globe to cater to a broad range of palates. Mindful of the limited accessibility to wine in Indonesia, the list has been curated keeping value, quality and balance in mind.
