Le Club 22 at Karma Kandara
The amount of cocktail havens hosted by the illustrious Karma Kandara continues to grow, with the Uluwatu-based resort hosting a trio of vibrant new bars for its guests. The popular Bukit Peninsula getaway recently welcomed the beachside haunt, Le Club 22, an elevated drinks and dining space with views out over the reefs below. But even more recently, it has also added to its collection of drinking dens twice over, with a duo of new bars based on the white sands of Uluwatu.
On the waterfront sits the Tiki Bar, this casual establishment has been crafted in honour of Bali’s famous beach barbecues. This is not your traditional waterside affair, but a more refined take the traditional BBQ, where the bar may be built in typical Balinese style right on the water’s edge. But here at Tiki, the curated collection of cocktails and snacks is anything but traditional. Picture all-day dining cooked using the handcrafted Komodo Kamado Grill on site, plating up dishes like wood-fired pizzas, and rock lobster rica rica. Partner your lunch with an array of Indonesian-inspired cocktails like the Puka Colada (dark rum, spiced rum, pandan syrup, coconut cream, cinnamon, orange pineapple, Angostura bitters) and don’t forget to taste the Karma Spritz (Aperol, blood orange, soda and sparkling wine).
