ATLAS PEARLS ANNOUNCES DESIGN WINNER
Atlas Pearls has proudly announced the winner of their jewellery design competition, Muhammad Ichsan, a junior architect at the firm of SHAU Architects in Bandung. Muhammad’s winning pearl ear cuff design was inspired by the Fibonacci sequence where each number is the sum of the two numbers that precede it. This sequence is often referred to as the universal rule of nature and it is said to govern the dimensions of everything from the Great Pyramid at Giza to the graceful seashell. Muhammad’s design is light and contemporary, which fits perfectly with Atlas Pearls’ philosophy of design for its South Sea pearl jewellery.
